• Inclusion and Accessibility Policy

This policy reflects IQU's view on diversity, accessibility, inclusion, and equality in using and learning through our education platform.

    Purpose

This document describes IQU’s accessibility standards and our accessibility ambitions for IQU’s website and all of its products. This document does not constitute a technical or functional specification for any part of IQU’s product line.

    IQU’s diversity and inclusion commitments

We believe that learning and gaming should include everyone.

We believe in removing barriers to education and entertainment.

We believe that diversity is an asset that enables us to learn from one another and should therefore be actively encouraged.

We do not discriminate or exclude based on individual characteristics or circumstances, including but not limited to age, disability, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, intellectual uniqueness, marital status, political opinion, pregnancy/maternity/paternity, race, color, caste, nationality, ethnic or national origin, religion or belief, socioeconomic background, trade union membership status, or education level, in accordance with, but not limited to, applicable law.

    Accessibility standards

IQU is mindful of global accessibility standards, such as the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG), and aims to comply with WCAG 2.2 at the AA level.

IQU’s accessibility standards include that our products shall be perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust, as described below:

Perceivable: Our product should be perceivable to all users, including those using assistive technologies. This includes users with different sensory, cognitive, or other unique abilities. All users should be able to perceive and access the content IQU presents using only one of their senses.

Operable: Our product should be operable by all users, including those using assistive technologies. All users should be able to navigate and interact with IQU.

Understandable: Our product should be understandable by all users, including those using assistive technologies. All users should be able to understand the content and functionality presented by IQU.

Robust: Our product should effectively communicate information to all users, including those using assistive technologies, and remain compatible with those technologies and user needs as they evolve. All users should be able to access the content that IQU presents as technologies evolve.

We aim to showcase accessibility best practices from the IQU community through our editorial and social channels.
